Job summary

Co-op Group is seeking a Depot General Manager in Andover to translate our logistics strategy into a practical plan, ensuring resources and processes support the delivery network. The role oversees a busy depot with around 400 colleagues and strong links to suppliers and trade unions.

You will drive safety, performance and continuous improvement, while managing budgets and collaborating with senior peers across the business. Permanent, full-time, five days over seven.

Qualifications

• Experience leading large-scale teams.
• Experience delivering positive change within a large, complex environment.
• Understanding of logistics/manufacturing, site management, and/or food retail operations.
• Strong leadership skills and ability to develop others.
• Experience managing a large budget.

Responsibilities

• Create an effective and customer-focused operational plan for the depot.
• Lead and develop a multi-disciplinary leadership team and foster continuous improvement.
• Build and maintain relationships with internal and external partners.
• Deliver the operational plan to budget and maintain cost-effective operations.
