Job summary

Clark Resourcing Solutions Ltd is seeking a Depot Engineer to service, maintain, and repair telehandlers and heavy plant equipment at the West Bromwich depot. The role emphasizes diagnostics, fault finding, and ensuring equipment is safe and ready for hire.

The ideal candidate will have NVQ Level 3 in Plant or Mechanical Engineering, strong diagnostic skills, and a full UK driving licence. This is a Monday–Friday position with a competitive salary and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience servicing and repairing telehandlers, construction plant or heavy equipment is highly desired to be considered.
• NVQ Level 3 in Plant, HGV, Agricultural or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
• A team player with a proactive approach.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and repair a fleet of telehandlers and heavy plant equipment.
• Carry out inspections, fault finding, diagnostics and breakdown repairs.
• Complete PDI checks and routine maintenance.
• Maintain accurate service records.
• Work closely with the wider team to ensure equipment is kept safe, reliable and ready for hire.

Depot Engineer

Salary: 33k - 37k basic

Monday–Friday 40 hours basic| No Weekends

CRS are currently assisting our client, a leading plant and equipment business, in sourcing experienced Depot Engineers to join a busy workshop team at the local depot in West Bromwich . This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong mechanical knowledge and experience working on telehandlers or other heavy plant machinery.

Depot Engineer role:

• Service, maintain and repair a fleet of telehandlers and heavy plant equipment.
• Carry out inspections, fault finding, diagnostics and breakdown repairs.
• Complete PDI checks and routine maintenance.
• Maintain accurate service records.
• Work closely with the wider team to ensure equipment is kept safe, reliable and ready for hire.

Depot Engineer requirements:
