Job summary

The Felix Project in London is seeking Depot Assistants to support operations in our depots. You will organise and sort food deliveries, and may join food delivery/collection routes, driving or co-driving.

A full UK driving licence (no more than 6 points) held for at least 1 year, over 21 for insurance, forklift license, and database experience are required. Flexible hours and a positive can-do attitude help reduce food waste and poverty.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience and use of a pump truck.
• Meticulous organisation skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Willingness to engage in light to medium physical work.

Purpose of the Job

To help us with our operations in our depots we are seeking Depot Assistants with exceptional organisation skills, attention to detail and a positive 'can do' attitude'! The role is subject to a degree of flexibility, but initially the Depot Assistant will be involved with the following activities:

• Organising and sorting food deliveries in the depot
• Going out on the food delivery/collection routes, driving or co-driving
• Full UK Driving Licence (with no more than 6 points) held for at least 1 year - over 21 for insurance purposes
• Flexibility in terms of working hours
• Confident to drive one of our vans
• Database experience
• Committed to reducing food waste, food poverty
• Fork lift license
