To control the receipt, storage, and issue of the company’s equipment in a manner that is credible to the Company.

Assist in maintaining the depot's operational order through mechanical handling equipment and inventory management.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Ensure the safe day-to-day operation of the base/site and the safety of all personnel and visitors.
2. Ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations in accordance with Company Policy.
3. Adhere to schedules and deadlines.
4. Wear the correct PPE at all times.
5. Communicate and implement changes as directed.
6. Handle all goods and deliveries accurately.
7. Conduct quality control checks on delivered and outgoing equipment to ensure standards are met.
8. Prepare goods for dispatch correctly.
9. Maintain inventory accuracy through daily monitoring, stocktaking, and audits.
10. Demonstrate high standards of work practices and safety-conscious behavior.
11. Support the Freight Coordinator to ensure timely task completion and adherence to KPIs.
12. Operate forklift trucks across the depot to assist in project work, housekeeping, and vessel mobilizations.
13. Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the base/site and ensure equipment is securely stored.
14. Handle and store hazardous substances safely, complying with COSHH regulations.
15. Be flexible in duties and responsibilities to meet changing business needs, including working weekends, shifts (day & night), and remotely at vessel locations abroad.
16. Assist at different sites/locations to control Prysmian assets, supporting vessels and projects.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• QCF Level 2 Warehouse Operations
• Forklift Operators Certificate – NPORS B1, B2, and B3
• IPAF Mobile Vertical (3a), Mobile Boom (3b)
• Novice certification in Overhead Crane operation
• Commitment to high standards of customer experience
• Experience operating in a controlled assets environment
• Basic knowledge of IT systems, such as Microsoft Office
• Experience in transportation and logistics
