Job summary

To support the management team at Felix East Anglia with finance. This role will be responsible for the processing of the regions Members accounts & debt management of the accounts. This role will also provide support to the Regional Centre managers, dealing with our Community Food members and internal accounts.

We bring people together to rescue, repurpose, and share surplus food that would otherwise go to waste, turning an environmental problem into a social opportunity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role.
• Experience with accounting systems and MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
• Understanding of GDPR principles and strong IT skills.

Responsibilities

• Process regional Members accounts and debt management across the region.
• Contribute to financial audits and periodic analysis.
• Prepare balance sheets for invoicing by corporate finance.
• Support Regional Centre managers and Community Food members.
• Maintain records and receipts for daily transactions and ensure compliance.

Job description

• Contribute to financial audits
• Perform periodic financial analysis to detect and resolve problems
• Prepare balance sheets for invoicing by corporate finance
• Your normal duties and responsibilities will be set out in your job description. However, the charity may require you to perform other duties from time to time.

• Understanding of GDPR principles.
• Experience with working with accounting systems.
• Strong IT and Microsoft Skills -Outlook, Excel and Word.
