Job description

Role

Department Administrator – providing efficient and professional administrative support to senior managers and staff in the Plasma Science and Fusion Operations division.

Responsibilities
  • Arrange meetings, prepare agendas and minutes.
  • Organise UK and international travel and conference registration.
  • Handle purchasing.
  • Make arrangements for new starters, visiting scientists and students; liaise with staff to ensure computer accounts are set up, office accommodation is provided, site passes issued, etc.
  • Provide other reasonable administrative support to the division.
Qualifications
  • Previous administrative experience and/or qualification.
  • Good IT skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Discreet and professional approach.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
