Job summary

UK Atomic Energy Authority is seeking a Compliance Administrator to maintain accurate commercial data and support the Compliance team. You will prepare internal and external reports, perform vendor compliance checks and respond to user queries.

Based at Culham, England, this on-site role requires good Microsoft Word and Excel skills, strong communication, and the ability to manage workload in a busy environment, with opportunities to contribute to training and system changes.

Qualifications

  • Five GCSEs including Maths and English Language.
  • Practical knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate data and databases for Commercial function.
  • Collate and prepare internal and external reports.
  • Carry out compliance checks for creation and amendment of vendors.
  • Provide guidance and support to users via helpdesk tickets.
  • Support delivery of training for Requisitioners and Responsible Officers.
  • Resolve user queries and issues using problem-solving skills.
  • Support P2P assurance processes through checks.
  • Deputise at meetings and assist system changes.
  • Act as superuser for Contract Management System and eTendering portal.
  • Manage the shared mailbox effectively.

About the job

The Compliance Administrator helps maintain accurate commercial data and systems, prepare reports and carry out basic compliance checks. You’ll also respond to user queries, help with training and provide general administrative support to the Compliance team.

What You’ll be Doing
  • Maintain accurate data & databases in support of the Commercial function.
  • Collate and prepare internal and external reports.
  • Carry out compliance checks for the creation and amendment of vendors.
  • Provide guidance and support to users through helpdesk tickets.
  • Support the delivery of training for Requisitioners and Responsible Officers, as well as providing ongoing support and guidance to these users.
  • Use your problem-solving skills to help resolve user queries and issues where required.
  • Undertake checks as assigned by the P2P Compliance Manager to support the P2P (Purchase to Pay) assurance processes.
  • Deputise at meetings and support system changes when required.
  • Act as a superuser for the Contract Management System, eTendering portal and other assigned systems.
  • Support the effective management of the shared email inbox.
What You’ll Bring
  • Five GCSEs, including Maths and English Language.
  • Office or administrative experience, with practical knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.Experience working with numerical data and producing accurate reports.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to manage your workload, work collaboratively and support colleagues.

UKAEA is an onsite organisation, and this role requires regular onsite presence (usually between 3-5 days in any given week) in line with business needs. We actively support flexible working arrangements where this is compatible with the role
