Job summary

Time for Teeth is seeking an enthusiastic GDC registered dentist to join our East Midlands team. You will deliver a full range of NHS care within secure-setting clinics across multiple prisons, contributing to safe, patient-centred treatment.

You will work 8:30am–4:30pm with days to be discussed, at sites including HMP Ranby, HMP Morton Hall, HMP Nottingham, HMP Lowdham Grange, HMP Whatton and Rampton Hospital. A fixed day rate applies with no UDA targets or lab bills.

Qualifications

  • GDC registration and NHS Performer Number required.
  • Completed dental foundation training.
  • Own dental indemnity insurance.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Provide a full range of NHS dental care to patients in a secure setting.
  • Work with integrated dental, clinical and multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, patient-centred care.

Job description

Time For Teethare looking for an enthusiastic GDC registered dentist to join our East Midlandsteam, supporting the delivery of high ‑ quality NHS dental care within our secure ‑ setting clinics at HMP Ranby, HMP Morton Hall, HMP Nottingham, HMP Lowdham Grange, HMP Whatton and Rampton Hospital.

Day Rate: Competitive fixed day rate with no UDA's or lab bills
Days/Hours: 8:30am- 4:30pm, days to be discussed
Sites: HMP Ranby, HMP Morton Hall, HMP Nottingham, HMP Lowdham Grange, HMP Whatton and Rampton Hospital.

Working with Time for Teeth, you will provide a full range of NHS care and treatment to patients within a secure setting. You will be part of an integrated healthcare team, working alongside dental, clinical and multidisciplinary colleagues to deliver safe, patient‑centred care.

What will we need from you?

  • You will need to be a GDC registered dentist.
  • You will need to hold an NHS Performer Number.
  • You should have completed your dental foundation training.
  • You will need to hold your own dental indemnity insurance.
  • You have good communication skills.
  • You will need to be a team player but hold the skills to be able to work off your own initiative.
  • You will put patient care first.

Please note successful candidates will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS disclosure and complete secure estate security vetting.
