Job summary

Time for Teeth is seeking a GDC registered Dental Nurse to join our North West/Lancaster team, supporting NHS dental care within secure‑setting clinics at multiple HMP sites. You will work with a multidisciplinary team across the country, contributing to high clinical standards and patient care.

This role offers a competitive hourly rate and four days per week from 8:30 to 16:30, with opportunities to work across several UK sites.

Qualifications

• GDC registration is required.
• Fully qualified dental nurse with 2+ years of NHS dental nursing experience.
• Must hold dental indemnity insurance on appointment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain clean, sterile clinical areas and ensure equipment meets standards.
• Provide chairside support to dentist and clinical team.
• Set up, decontaminate and sterilise instruments.
• Maintain stock levels and update patient records.
• Complete monthly clinic performance reports.
• Comply with Health & Safety and infection-control requirements.
• Manage laboratory request forms.
• Support safe and efficient operation of the service.
