Oakmead Dental Practice in East Grinstead is seeking a friendly, professional Dental Receptionist to join our welcoming team. You’ll be the first point of contact for patients, greeting them warmly, answering calls, booking appointments and handling payments.

This role offers a full-time, 46.5-hour week across Monday to Friday, with a supportive team and ongoing training in a modern three-surgery practice. Prior dental reception experience is advantageous but not essential.

Qualifications

• Friendly and professional demeanour required.
• Strong communication with patients and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming patients to the practice in a friendly and professional manner.
• Answering telephone calls and responding to patient enquiries.
• Booking, managing and confirming patient appointments.
• Maintaining a welcoming, organised reception area.
• Taking payments and handling financial queries.
• Maintaining accurate patient records and updating information as required.
• Liaising with clinicians and the wider team to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Supporting patients with appointment and treatment queries.
• Managing correspondence and day-to-day administration.
• Upholding patient confidentiality and data protection requirements.
