Job summary

Bupa Dental Care is seeking a Dental Practice Manager for Newton Abbot (TQ12 4XX). You will be responsible for running the practice day-to-day, planning for growth, and leading a team of 7–15 colleagues. The role includes meeting income targets, recruitment, and ensuring high standards of patient care.

We welcome applicants with dental experience or strong managerial backgrounds from other sectors. Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, fixed-term contract for 12 months.

Qualifications

• Previous dental experience desirable but we also welcome applications from successful managers from other business settings.
• Experience delivering patient care and building a compliant, profitable practice.
• Ability to lead a multi-disciplinary team and drive business priorities.

Responsibilities

• Delivering industry leading patient care in your practice.
• Review, monitor and plan to ensure delivery of income targets including recruitment and diary management.
• Motivate, lead and engage a team of 7-15 colleagues to achieve results.
• Collaborate and influence conversations to drive business priorities.
• Proactively market the practice to drive patient numbers.
• Ensure the practice meets CQC and legislative guidelines as the registered manager.
