Job summary

Bupa Dental Care is seeking a Dental Practice Manager for Newton Abbot. The role covers day-to-day practice leadership with autonomy to plan for a successful future, and to drive patient care and business performance.

The position emphasises managing a team, delivering income targets, compliance with CQC standards, and proactive marketing to grow patient numbers. Previous dental experience is preferred but versatile managers from other sectors are welcome.

Qualifications

• Experience managing a dental/healthcare practice is preferred.
• Ability to lead a team of 7-15 colleagues.
• Strong recruitment and staff management skills.
• Proven ability to meet income targets and manage marketing and diary control.

Responsibilities

• Deliver industry-leading patient care in the practice.
• Review, monitor and plan to ensure delivery of income targets (recruitment, marketing, diary, recalls, treatments).
• Motivate, lead and engage a team of 7-15 colleagues.
• Collaborate and influence conversations to drive business priorities.
• Proactively market the practice to drive patient numbers.
• Ensure the practice meets CQC and legislative guidelines as the registered manager.
• Recruitment and selection for all practice staff.
• Utilise Bupa products and services to maximise revenue.
• Confident in using computer software and communications via email/phone/Microsoft Teams.
