Join our Team!

We are excited to be recruiting for a Dental Nurse/Treatment Coordinator to join our team at City Dental by Clyde Munro, working 4 days per week, Tuesday to Friday.

City Dental is located in Glasgow City Centre, with a wide range of amenities nearby, including shops and cafes. The practice is easily accessible by car and public transport, with Glasgow Central and Queen Street stations within walking distance.

Your Role

This role involves a combination of chairside dental nursing and managing specialist treatment plans as a treatment coordinator. You will be responsible for providing chairside support in daily activities within the practice and surgeries, playing a vital role in ensuring excellent patient care while adhering to clinical and health & safety guidelines.

Additional duties include:

1. Creating a welcoming environment for patients to put them at ease from the outset.
2. Maximising the use of the internal system (Software of Excellence) to maintain accurate patient records.
3. Monitoring internal referral system to ensure timely follow-up of patient referrals.
4. Preparing the surgery appropriately for each stage of the patient’s treatment plan to maximise efficiency.
5. Anticipating the needs of clinicians and patients in advance of sessions, ensuring necessary lab work and equipment are ready.
6. Monitoring stock levels to ensure appropriate supplies are maintained.
7. Undertaking reception duties as needed, including answering phones, scheduling appointments, and collecting charges.

About You

• GDC registration is essential.
• Existing sedation qualification or willingness to obtain one is desirable.
• Experience in Private/NHS practices is preferred.
• Commitment to delivering high levels of patient care.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Enthusiastic with a desire to learn and develop new skills.
