Job summary

Clyde Munro Dental Group is recruiting a qualified full-time Dental Nurse/Receptionist for our Paisley Orthodontics practice. You will support chair side activities, ensure top patient care, and help maintain records using Software of Excellence.

Experience in NHS/private settings is required and orthodontic experience is beneficial. You will work both independently and as part of a team in a busy yet supportive environment, with opportunities to learn new skills and progress within the group.

Qualifications

• Must be GDC registered.
• Must have experience working in Private / NHS practice.
• Previous orthodontic experience is beneficial.
• Willing to demonstrate the highest levels of patient care.
• Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team.
• Enthusiastic, with an appetite to learn and develop new skills.
• Radiography qualification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide chair side support in day-to-day activities within the practice and surgeries.
• Deliver excellent patient care while complying with clinical and health & safety guidance.
• Create a welcoming environment for patients from the outset.
• Maximise use of the internal system (Software of Excellence) to maintain accurate patient records.
• Set up surgeries for each session to maximise efficiency.
• Anticipate clinicians' and patients' requirements and prepare lab work and equipment accordingly.
• Monitor stock levels to maintain appropriate supplies.
• Undertake reception duties when needed, including answering calls, scheduling appointments and collecting charges.

Due to an exciting expansion within our practice, we are excited to be recruiting for a qualified full-time Dental Nurse/Receptionist to join our friendly, experienced team at Paisley Orthodontics.

As a well-established practice that has proudly served the local community for many years, Paisley Orthodontics offers a supportive and relaxed working environment alongside the opportunity to develop specialist skills in orthodontic care. Our team delivers a comprehensive range of NHS and private treatments, from traditional braces to Invisalign, helping patients achieve confident, healthy smiles.

Conveniently located just outside Paisley town centre, the practice benefits from ample on-street parking and nearby bus links, making it easily accessible for commuters.

Your Role

You will be responsible for providing chair side support in all day-to-day activities within the practice and surgeries. You will play an important role in a ensuring the delivery of excellent patient care while complying with all clinical and health & safety guidance.

Other duties include -

• Creating a welcoming environment for patients that sets them at ease from the outset

• Maximising the use of the internal system (Software of Excellence) to ensure accurate patient records are maintained

• Ensuring the surgery is set up appropriately for each session throughout the day to maximise the efficiency of the practice and surgery utilisation

• Anticipating the requirements of the clinician and patient in advance of their session and ensure necessary lab work and equipment is in place

• Monitoring surgery stocks to ensure that appropriate stock levels are maintained

• Undertaking reception duties when required including answering the telephone, making appointments and collecting patient charges

About You

• Must be GDC registered

• Must have experience working in Private / NHS practice

• Previous orthodontic experience is beneficial

• Willing to demonstrate the highest levels of patient care

• The ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team

• Enthusiastic, with an appetite to learn and develop new skills

• Radiography qualification preferred
