Job summary

PortmanDentex in Falkirk is offering a full-time Dental Nurse role in a specialist orthodontic practice serving NHS and private patients. You will work alongside orthodontists and therapists in modern surgeries, with scope to develop within nurse-led clinics and your professional practice.

• Must have a recognised Dental Nursing qualification and be GDC registered.

Responsibilities

• Work in a specialist Orthodontic practice.
• Assist in nurse-led clinics and operate within your scope of practice.
• Provide patient care and liaise with orthodontists and therapists.
• Cover shifts as needed.

• Full-time hours available
• Typical shifts: Monday-Thursday 8.45-6pm Friday 8.45-4.30pm (Saturday cover for sickness/holiday)
• Competitive hourly rate from: £13.70
• Specialist Orthodontic practice, caring for both NHS and private patients
• Modern and well-equipped surgeries, working alongside Specialist Orthodontists and Therapists
• Opportunity to work independently within ournurse-led clinics, and fully within your scope of practice

About You

• A recognised Dental Nursing qualification and active GDC registration
• A positive and empathetic approach, with strong communication skills
• A team player who thrives on providing great service and building relationships with colleagues and patients
• Orthodontic experience is helpful but not essential – full training will be provided
