Job summary

PortmanDentex, Waterlooville Orthodontics, is looking for a qualified Dental Nurse to join our friendly, modern practice. Part-time hours with typical shifts Mon-Thu 08:30-17:30, and an hourly rate starting at £13.57 (£14.20 if Radiography trained).

You will hold a recognised dental nursing qualification, active GDC registration, and enjoy a supportive team working with Specialist Orthodontists and Therapists in nurse-led clinics.

• Caring, empathetic approach with strong communication skills.
• Orthodontic experience helpful but not essential; full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Work in a specialist orthodontic practice caring for NHS and private patients.

• Part-time hours available
• Typical shifts: Monday, Tuesday Wednesday, Thursday 0830-1730
• Competitive hourly rate from: £13.57 (£14.20 per hour if Radiography trained)
• Specialist Orthodontic practice, caring for both NHS and private patients
• Modern and well-equipped surgeries, working alongside Specialist Orthodontists and Therapists
• Opportunity to work independently within our nurse-led clinics, and fully within your scope of practice

About you

• A recognised Dental Nursing qualification and active GDC registration
• A caring and empathetic approach, with strong communication skills
• A team player who thrives on providing great service and building relationships with colleagues and patients
• Orthodontic experience is helpful but not essential - full training will be provided
