Job summary

PortmanDentex is seeking a qualified Dental Nurse for a vacancy at our Giffnock Orthodontic Centre. The role offers 36 hours per week with varied shifts and a competitive hourly rate.

You will work in a specialist orthodontic practice caring for NHS and private patients, in modern surgeries alongside specialists. Training will be provided and there is scope to work independently within nurse-led clinics.

Qualifications

• A recognised Dental Nursing qualification and active GDC registration.
• A caring and empathetic approach, with strong communication skills.
• A team player who thrives on providing great service and building relationships with colleagues and patients.
• Orthodontic experience is helpful but not essential – full training will be provided.

Are you a qualified Dental Nurse looking for an exciting new opportunity? Are you ready to step into a new challenge in a friendly and modern setting? If so, we’ve got a vacancy at our welcoming Giffnock Orthodontic Centre.

• 36 hours per week
• Typical shifts: 4 days per week: 8am-5.30pm (for 3 weeks of the month) 8am-6pm (for 1 week of the month) Different day off each week.
• Competitive hourly rate from: £13.22
• Specialist Orthodontic practice, caring for both NHS and private patients
• Modern and well-equipped surgeries, working alongside Specialist Orthodontists and Therapists
• Opportunity to work independently within ournurse-led clinics, and fully within your scope of practice

About You
