Job summary

PortmanDentex is seeking a qualified dental nurse for Pear Tree Dental Practice in Leighton Buzzard. This friendly, modern practice offers opportunities to work within nurse-led clinics and alongside specialists, with parking available and a supportive team.

Typical shifts are 08:30–17:30 on Tuesday and Thursday and every other Friday if possible, with a competitive hourly rate from £14.50 depending on experience. The role emphasizes patient care and ongoing training with CPD support.

Qualifications

• A recognised Dental Nursing qualification and active GDC registration.
• A positive and empathetic approach, with strong communication skills.
• A team player who thrives on providing great service and building relationships with colleagues and patients.
• Orthodontic experience is helpful but not essential – full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Support dental team in nurse-led clinics and assist during procedures.
• Maintain high standards of infection control and patient comfort.
• Prepare rooms and equipment for procedures and appointments.
• Assist with patient education and chair-side guidance.
