Job summary

PortmanDentex in Waterlooville is seeking a qualified Dental Nurse for a part-time role in our orthodontic practice. Work alongside Specialist Orthodontists and Therapists in a modern, nurse-led clinic, with NHS and private patients and schedule shifts Mon-Thu 08:30–17:30.

The position offers a competitive hourly rate from £13.57, plus a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for professional development within our growing practice.

Qualifications

• A recognised Dental Nursing qualification and active GDC registration.
• Caring and empathetic approach with strong communication skills.
• A team player who thrives on providing great service and building relationships with colleagues and patients.
• Orthodontic experience is helpful but not essential – full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist orthodontists and therapists with procedures.
• Provide chairside support and patient care.
• Maintain cleanliness and sterility of surgeries.
• Support NHS and private patients throughout their visit.
