Job summary

Portman Dental Care in Falkirk is seeking a qualified Dental Nurse to join a specialist orthodontic practice serving NHS and private patients. You will work in modern surgeries alongside orthodontists and therapists, with opportunities to work independently within nurse-led clinics.

The role offers a competitive hourly rate, comprehensive professional support, and a clear path for development, CPD training, and progression within the Portman Dental Care network.

Qualifications

• Holds a recognised Dental Nursing qualification and active GDC registration.
• Positive and empathetic approach with strong communication skills.
• Team player who provides great service and builds relationships with colleagues and patients.
• Orthodontic experience is helpful but not essential; full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Work within a nurse-led clinic, within your scope of practice.
• Collaborate with Specialist Orthodontists and Therapists.
• Care for NHS and private patients in a modern, well-equipped setting.
• Support patient care and maintain high standards of infection control and hygiene.

• Typical shifts:Monday-Thursday 8.45-6pm Friday 8.45-4.30pm (Saturday cover for sickness/holiday)

• Modern and well-equipped surgeries,working alongside Specialist Orthodontists and Therapists
