Job summary

Inshes Dental Centre in Inverness, part of Clyde Munro Group, is recruiting a full-time Dental Nurse (trainee applications welcome). You will provide chair side support across daily surgeries and help deliver high-quality patient care.

Must be GDC registered; NHS/private experience is a plus. You’ll work both independently and as part of a team, manage stocks, and assist with reception duties when needed. The group offers funded CPD and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be GDC registered.
• Experience in Private or NHS practices is beneficial.
• Willing to demonstrate the highest levels of patient care.
• Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team.
• Enthusiastic with an appetite to learn and develop new skills.

Responsibilities

• Providing chair side support in day-to-day activities within the practice and surgeries.
• Delivering excellent patient care while complying with clinical and health & safety guidance.
• Creating a welcoming environment for patients.
• Maximising use of the internal system to ensure accurate patient records.
• Ensuring the surgery is set up appropriately for each session to maximise efficiency.
• Anticipating clinician and patient requirements and ensuring necessary lab work and equipment are in place.
• Monitoring surgery stocks to maintain appropriate levels.
• Undertaking reception duties when required including answering the telephone, making appointments and collecting patient charges.

We are excited to be recruiting a full-time Dental Nurse to join our team at Inshes Dental Centre in Inverness. We will also accept trainee applications.

Inshes Dental Centre is situated on the outskirts of Inverness. We pride ourselves on offering first-class dental care and are committed to ensuring that your experience with our highly qualified and caring clinicians is both pleasant and comfortable.

There is free parking outside the practice.

Your Role

You will be responsible for providing chair side support in all day-to-day activities within the practice and surgeries. You will play an important role in a ensuring the delivery of excellent patient care while complying with all clinical and health & safety guidance.

Other duties include –

• Creating a welcoming environment for patients that sets them at ease from the outset
• Maximising the use of the internal system (Software of Excellence) to ensure accurate patient records are maintained
• Ensuring the surgery is set up appropriately for each session throughout the day to maximise the efficiency of the practice and surgery utilisation
• Anticipating the requirements of the clinician and patient in advance of their session and ensure necessary lab work and equipment is in place
• Monitoring surgery stocks to ensure that appropriate stock levels are maintained
• Undertaking reception duties when required including answering the telephone, making appointments and collecting patient charges

About You

• Must be GDC registered
• Experience working in Private / NHS practices is beneficial
• Willing to demonstrate the highest levels of patient care
• The ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team
• Enthusiastic, with an appetite to learn and develop new skills
