Job summary

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) is seeking a Rotational Radiographer with an interest in dental imaging to join its Imaging teams in Glasgow. You will work across Glasgow Dental Hospital, Glasgow Royal Infirmary and other NHSGGC sites, delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging while developing specialist dental imaging skills in a large teaching environment.

The post supports professional development, with visa sponsorship considered on a case-by-case basis and a 5 days over 7 pattern.

Qualifications

• Degree in Diagnostic Radiography or DCR qualification with HCPC registration.
• Post‑registration radiography experience relevant to dental imaging.
• Evidence of continuing professional development and lifelong learning.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with patients, students and colleagues.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise in a 24/7 service.

Responsibilities

• Perform and justify a wide range of diagnostic imaging examinations with high image quality.
• Deliver dental imaging including intra-oral, OPT and iCAT procedures.
• Assess patient needs and adapt imaging techniques accordingly.
• Support supervision, teaching and assessment of radiography and dental students.
• Contribute to service delivery through rotational working across sites.
• Maintain radiation protection compliance and QA standards.
• Provide leadership and workload coordination when required.
