Job summary

Pulse Healthcare in Glasgow is seeking a Band 5 General Radiographer to join the imaging department on an ongoing basis with ASAP start. You will perform a range of routine diagnostic imaging procedures, maintaining high image quality and patient safety.

The successful candidate will work 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, in a supportive team and in a fast-paced NHS-style environment, contributing to efficient radiographic services for patients.

Qualifications

  • HCPC registration as Radiographer is required.
  • Experience at Band 5 level or equivalent is preferred.
  • Proficient in general radiographic techniques and patient safety.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Experience in NHS or similar settings is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Perform a wide range of routine diagnostic imaging procedures.

Our client is looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Band 5 General Radiographer to join their imaging department in Glasgow. This short-term opportunity is ideal for a radiographer who is confident in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services and is committed to patient-centred care. The successful candidate will be working within a supportive team, contributing to the efficient delivery of radiographic services for the client’s patients.

What will your responsibilities be :

The General Radiographer will be responsible for performing a wide range of routine diagnostic imaging procedures, ensuring high standards of image quality and patient safety. Key duties include operating imaging equipment, maintaining accurate patient records, and working collaboratively with radiologists and other healthcare professionals. The role also involves adhering to departmental protocols and radiation safety regulations while maintaining a compassionate and professional approach to patient care.

Qualifications and Experiences:
  • HCPC registered Radiographer
  • Experience working at Band 5 level or equivalent
  • Proficient in general radiographic techniques and equipment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of current radiographic practices and safety standards
  • Experience in NHS or similar healthcare settings is preferred
