Job summary

Wirral Community Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting for Dental Clinical Assistant / Receptionist roles across its specialist dental service. The positions are part-time and based across Wirral clinics in Wallasey and Birkenhead, with flexible site movement and occasional administrative support at the dental office in Wallasey.

Post holders will reprocess reusable dental equipment, assist with decontamination, and perform patient-facing reception and administrative duties.

Qualifications

• Literacy and numeracy are essential.
• Experience in a medical or dental environment.
• Knowledge of Dentally or other dental software.
• Full driving licence and access to a car.
• Vaccinated (or willing to be vaccinated) against Hepatitis B.

Responsibilities

• Reprocess and decontaminate reusable dental equipment and ensure a clean dental environment.
• Provide patient-facing reception and administrative duties within clinics.
• Book appointments using the Dentally system and manage patient records.
• Assist with stock checks, billing, and general clerical tasks.
