Job summary

Deneco's Café in Leeds is seeking a friendly, reliable Barista/Café Team Member to join a busy team. This permanent role is on a zero-hour contract with typical hours of 25–35 per week, including weekdays, weekends and holiday periods.

Experience in café or hospitality is preferred, but full training will be provided for the right candidate. You will prepare drinks, serve customers, handle the till, and help with stock and food prep while upholding hygiene standards.

We are looking for a friendly, reliable and enthusiastic individual to join our busy café team.

This is a permanent part-time position, with hours typically ranging from 25–35 hours per week, depending on the time of year. The role is offered on a zero-hour contract and will involve a mixture of weekdays, weekends and holiday periods.

Previous experience in a café, coffee shop, hospitality or customer service environment is preferred, although full training will be provided for the right candidate.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Preparing and serving hot and cold drinks, desserts and food items
• Serving both eat-in and takeaway customers efficiently
• Operating the till and processing transactions accurately
• Assisting with food preparation and presentation
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, food safety and hygiene
