Job summary

Deneco's Café in Leeds is seeking a friendly, reliable Barista/Café Team Member to join a busy team. This permanent role is on a zero-hour contract with typical hours of 25–35 per week, including weekdays, weekends and holiday periods.

Experience in café or hospitality is preferred, but full training will be provided for the right candidate. You will prepare drinks, serve customers, handle the till, and help with stock and food prep while upholding hygiene standards.

Qualifications

• Previous café/hospitality or customer service experience preferred, though full training will be provided.
• Strong customer service and communication skills are essential.
• Able to work in a fast-paced café environment and maintain high hygiene standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve hot and cold drinks, desserts and food items
• Serve eat-in and takeaway customers
• Operate the till and process transactions accurately
• Assist with food preparation and presentation
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and food safety
• Replenish stock and assist with stock control
• Work as part of a supportive team in a fast-paced environment
