Job summary

Hotel Indigo K West Shepherd’s Bush is seeking a Demi Chef de Partie to join our pre-opening kitchen, owning a station, supporting the brigade, and delivering consistent dishes.

Based in Shepherd’s Bush, our bold kitchen team values local flavour, technique and teamwork. The annual salary is £28,300 with comprehensive benefits including pension, restaurant discounts, staff rates, private medical insurance, and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Commis or Demi Chef in a quality-led kitchen.
• Solid technical ability in prep, sauces, garnishes, and presentation.
• Strong teamwork and communication.
• Flexibility to work a rotating roster including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Knowledge of allergen handling, HACCP, and Health & Safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Support the section – mise en place to execution with precision.
• Take ownership during service and maintain stock levels.
• Follow the flavour and taste everything to ensure perfection.
• Lead in the absence of the Chef de Partie and mentor juniors.
• Grow daily through training, notes, and briefings.
• Maintain hygiene and food safety standards.
