Job summary

The Trafalgar St. James, a Curio Collection by Hilton hotel in London, seeks a Demi Chef de Partie to join our busy kitchen team. You will support the Chef de Partie and contribute to a smooth day-to-day operation with high culinary standards.

You’ll prepare ingredients, maintain mise en place, and help ensure every dish reflects our quality. Eligibility to work in the UK is required.

Qualifications

• You’ll bring a genuine passion for food, a positive can-do attitude and a commitment to maintaining high culinary standards.
• Good attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and ability to work as part of a busy kitchen team.
• Previous experience in a professional kitchen is desirable; reliability and willingness to learn are key.
• Must be eligible to live and work in the UK or obtain permits to work in the UK prior to application.

Responsibilities

• Support the Chef de Partie and wider kitchen team with day-to-day preparation and smooth running of your section.
• Prepare ingredients, assist with mise en place, follow recipes and presentation standards.
• Keep your section clean, organised, and fully prepared; assist with receiving, storing, and stock rotation; follow safety procedures.
