Job summary

Avery Healthcare Group is seeking a Wellbeing and Activities Assistant at Rosebery Manor Care Home to support the Wellbeing Coordinator in delivering activities that promote residents' physical, cognitive and social wellbeing.

Experience with older people in a dementia setting is essential; a DBS check and right to work in the UK are required. The role involves coordinating events, liaising with staff and community groups, and arranging supplies.

Responsibilities

• Support the Wellbeing Coordinator in delivering activities for residents' physical, cognitive and social wellbeing.
• Maintain a safe living and working environment reflecting the home's professional image.
• Report changes in residents' condition to the Wellbeing and Activities Coordinator, Home Manager and care staff.
• Order and prepare supplies for upcoming activities as directed.
• Support links with local community groups to encourage wider access and intergenerational activity.
