Job summary

Orchard Healthcare Group is seeking a Dementia Support Worker for Ashlea Lodge, Sunderland. Night shifts available, 22–44 hours per week, with pay rates of £13.77–£14.60 per hour for NVQ Level 2–3 in Health and Social Care. A minimum of 6 months' experience in a Dementia care setting is essential.

You will build meaningful relationships with residents, provide personal care with empathy, and work with a multidisciplinary team to enhance daily living and wellbeing.

Brief Description

An NVQ level 2 (or above) certificate in Health and Social Care is essential for this role along with 6 months minimum experience within a Dementia setting.

Dementia Support Worker – 22- 44 hrs available per week - Night shifts

Rates Of Pay

• NVQ level 2 in Health and Social care: £13.77 per hour
• NVQ level 3 in Health and Social care: £14.60 per hour

As a Specialist Support Worker, you will help us to ensure that people are treated with respect and dignity. Your approach will be empathetic, compassionate, and focused on ensuring that the lives of residents are fulfilled and meaningful.

• Support people to participate in appropriate leisure activities and activities of daily living, normalising life as much as possible with joy and happiness.
• Providing personal care with empathy and sensitivity
• Receive tailored dementia training to enhance your skills and the lives of those you will support.
