Job summary

Alzheimer Scotland is recruiting a Day Services Manager to lead registered day services and community supports for people with dementia and their families in the area. You will ensure high-quality, person-centred care and compliance with service specifications and Alzheimer Scotland's quality guarantees.

You will provide strong line management, oversee referrals and assessments, collaborate with health and social care partners, and drive continuous quality improvements, audits, and inspections.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a team in social care, health, or related settings.
• Knowledge of Health and Social Care Standards and Care Inspectorate expectations.
• Ability to engage with stakeholders and drive quality improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage therapeutic registered day services and community supports.
• Oversee referrals, assessments and quality assurance across services.
• Collaborate with Health and Social Care partners and internal teams to ensure safe, person-centred practice.
• Provide strong line management, set objectives, and conduct regular appraisals.

Education

SCQF Level 7 / SVQ 3 in health, social care or related field
