Orchard Healthcare Group in Leeds is seeking a Specialist Support Worker (Dementia) to provide person-centred care, build meaningful relationships and support residents in daily living activities with compassion. You’ll work as part of a friendly, multidisciplinary team in a dementia-focused environment.

NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care is essential, along with at least 6 months’ dementia experience.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or above.
• At least 6 months' experience in a Dementia care setting.
• NVQ Level 2/3 in Health and Social Care required.

Responsibilities

• Build meaningful relationships with residents and families.
• Support participation in activities of daily living with dignity.
• Provide personal care with empathy and sensitivity.
• Receive dementia-specific training to enhance skills.
