Job summary

Orchard Healthcare Group in Leeds is seeking a Specialist Support Worker (Dementia) to provide compassionate care to residents at Paisley Lodge. The role requires an NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care and at least six months’ experience in a dementia setting, with the ability to build relationships and support daily living activities.

You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team, delivering person-centred care, dignity, and respect, and will receive ongoing training and development

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care essential.
• Minimum 6 months experience in a Dementia care setting.

Responsibilities

• Build meaningful relationships with residents and families.
• Support participation in leisure activities and activities of daily living, normalising life with joy and happiness.
• Provide personal care with empathy and sensitivity.
• Receive tailored dementia training to enhance your skills and the lives of those you will support.
• Collaborate with a passionate, multidisciplinary team.
