Job summary

THG Nutrition is seeking a skilled Demand Planner to manage the supply chain planning model for product launches, monitor sales performance and analyse stock profiles of new products. You will work with NPD, Marketing and Trading to set launch dates and ensure stock availability across regions.

The role requires strong numerical abilities, Excel/SQL proficiency, and experience in FMCG supply chain planning.

Qualifications

• Strong numerical and reporting skills, with Excel and SQL experience.
• Experience in a Supply Chain/Planning role, ideally in FMCG.
• Ability to work independently, use initiative, and maintain detail orientation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and develop the product launch tracker for nutrition brands.
• Work closely with the NPD, Marketing and Trading teams to plan launch dates within product and regional specific lead times.
• Review and feed forecasts into the Supply Planning and Procurement teams ensuring the optimal amount of stock is ordered to mitigate any future stock risks.
• Collaborate with other members of the planning team to ensure production demand can be met and stock reaches the relevant fulfilment centres globally.
• Drive improvement through post launch reviews. Monitor the success of product launches and highlight any resulting overstocks to the trading teams.
• Rationalisation - Manage the exit strategy for discontinued SKU's by identifying redundant packaging and bespoke raw materials. Overseeing inventory management throughout the process.

What skills and experience do I need for this role?

• Strong numerical and reporting skills applied in Excel, SQL desirable
• Previous experience in a Supply Chain/Planning role ideally within FMCG
• Ability to work independently, use initiative and maintain attention to detail
• Supply chain/commercial background desirable
• Ability to communicate effectively with key stakeholders across the business
• An understanding of ecommerce desirable
