Job summary

THG in Manchester is seeking an Operations Planner for Retail & B2B to own critical supply chain processes, drive meaningful improvements, and support global Retail and B2B operations. Working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, you’ll partner with Operations, Sales and Supply Chain to optimise product availability, oversee new launches, and lead cross-functional projects across our global network.

Operations Planner – Retail & B2B

Working in a fast-paced and collaborative environment, you’ll partner with teams across the business to optimise supply chain performance, improve product availability, and deliver results on a global scale.

What will you be doing?

As an Operations Planner, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our Retail and B2B customers have the right products, in the right place, at the right time. Your responsibilities will include:

• Maximising product availability and sales across our global Retail and B2B channels.
• Monitoring forecast accuracy and adherence, working closely with customers and internal teams to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Managing new product launches end-to-end, coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless journey from concept through to delivery.
• Identifying and implementing process improvements to increase efficiency, strengthen supply chain performance, and support business growth.
• Leading projects and initiatives designed to enhance our global Retail and B2B supply chain capabilities.
• Collaborating cross-functionally with Operations, Sales, Supply Chain and other key stakeholders to deliver business objectives.

What skills and experience will you bring?

We’re looking for someone who is analytical, commercially minded and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. You’ll ideally have:

• Strong numerical, analytical and reporting skills, with advanced Excel capability. SQL knowledge would be advantageous.
• Experience within supply chain, B2B, commercial or operations environments.
• Experience working closely with Operations and Sales teams.
• A proactive and self-motivated approach, with the ability to work independently and take ownership of your responsibilities.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt quickly and make sound decisions in a fast-moving environment.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and collaborate effectively across functions.
• A good understanding of global supply chain processes and trends would be advantageous.
