Job summary

Boeing Defence UK (BDUK) seeks a Demand Forecasting Analyst to develop and maintain a forecasting model for UK fixed-wing programmes. The role combines data preparation, modeling and cross‑functional collaboration to translate supply data into actionable forecasts that meet customer requirements.

The position is hybrid, with three days on site per week, and requires strong Excel/SAP/BI experience and the ability to obtain UK security clearance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience within a Supply Chain role.
• 3+ years of experience with use of inventory management tools or ERP systems (e.g., SAP).
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint).
• Advanced Excel skills (macros, pivot tables, arrays, etc.).
• Strong numeracy, statistical and reporting skills.
• Ability to prioritise and multi-task.
• Team oriented with ability to work autonomously.
• BPSS background check.
• Ability to obtain UK security clearance (UK residency).

Responsibilities

• Maintain supply chain analytic tools for purchasing, planning, master scheduling, SCOR and ERP/MRP systems.
• Develop and maintain an optimized inventory model to support customer requirements.
• Analyze data quality and trends across platforms (region, supplier).
• Monitor data discrepancies between SAP and SPM.
• Update pricing information per data feeds from Supply Chain functions.
• Support SI&OP processes for fixed wing programmes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align demand plans with requirements.
• Prepare presentations to communicate forecast results and insights.
