As Business Development Manager, you will make pro-active calls and visits to Westcoast’s existing customer base selling the value of Dell CSG.

How will you do this?

  • On site customer visits when appropriate to build partner relationships and engage with sales staff.
  • Day to day ownership and management of the Acer & ASUS sales business development in the Authorised Partner space
  • Development of key Dell relationships.
  • Create and follow up on sales floor pipeline.
  • Identifying and acting on new opportunities and promoting Westcoast’s value add services.
  • Highlighting the larger deals to Westcoast Senior Management.
  • Consistently develop understanding of Dell CSG offering within Westcoast
  • Building excellent relationships within your team and among the wider team including product and marketing.
  • Be able to deliver training to partners highlighting the benefits and USP’s of Dell CSG

Is this the role for you?

To be successful in this role you will have some of the following skills and experience and the desire to develop in other areas:

  • Track record in Sales & New business (Experience in IT Distribution or IT is desirable but not essential)
  • Commercially minded
  • Quick to pick up complex processes
  • Develop your understanding of processes and quoting whilst developing into a pro-active sales role
  • Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative
  • Ability to adapt to changing situations with confidence and professionalism
  • Clear and personable communication skills at all levels
  • Ability to manage your time and workload
  • Desire to continuously develop your IT knowledge
