Job summary

Booker is seeking a permanent Van Driver to join our delivery team in Reading. In this role you will support the delivery operation and assist the delivery team in providing first-class customer service across our customer base.

You will need a full driving license, you will load stock, pick for the delivery team, dispatch goods, and ensure customers receive their deliveries on time. A can-do attitude and commitment to punctuality are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have a full driving license.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for accurate picking and dispatch of goods by hand-held terminal and informing Manager of differences.
• Check quality, shelf life and ensure packaging is robust for delivery.
• Provide high standard of customer service by processing deliveries efficiently and to target.
• Deliver goods to customers and respond to queries; escalate complex issues.
• Load stock into the vehicle at the Branch and unload at customer premises; complete paperwork.
