Job summary

Booker Group plc in Reading is hiring a Van Driver to join our delivery team. You will be responsible for picking for the delivery operation and supporting the delivered service with a focus on accuracy and first-class customer care.

A full driving license is required. You will load stock, dispatch orders using a handheld terminal, and ensure deliveries are on time and handled professionally, including handling queries and complaints.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pick and dispatch goods using a handheld terminal.
• Check quality and shelf life; ensure packaging is robust for delivery.
• Provide high standard of customer service during deliveries.
• Deliver to customers politely and respond to queries; refer complex issues as needed.
• Load stock into the vehicle and unload at customer premises; complete paperwork accurately.
