Job summary

SWIFT Temps Ltd in Darlington (DL1) is recruiting Postal Delivery Workers to support Royal Mail operations. You will sort and prepare mail, and deliver letters and parcels on allocated routes using a handheld device.

Expect to work outdoors in all weather, with walking for extended periods. Weekend work may be required; a full UK driving licence with up to 6 penalty points and a DBS check are required.

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence at your current UK address.
• Maximum 6 penalty points.
• Must successfully complete a DBS security check.

Postal Delivery Worker

Location: Darlington DL1

Pay: £13.69 per hour PAYE

Hours: 30 hours per week

Shift: 8:00 am - 2:00 pm or 2:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Weekend: Saturday and Sunday work may be required

SWIFT Temps Ltd are working in partnership with Royal Mail to recruit Postal Delivery Workers to support their busy operation in Darlington

The Role

You will be responsible for sorting and preparing mail before heading out on your allocated delivery route. You will deliver letters and parcels to homes and businesses throughout the local community.

• Using a handheld device to manage deliveries

• Previous delivery or customer service experience is desirable but not essential
