Job summary

Browne Group is seeking a confident, motivated Supervisor to join our Clean Rivers & Seas team, supporting delivery across Kent and Sussex. You’ll lead multiple teams, manage resources, coordinate subcontractors and ensure on‑time delivery of the Survey & Discovery programme.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and people-management skills.
• Confident managing and motivating multiple teams.
• Excellent communication skills at all levels.
• Highly organised and able to think ahead.
• Able to manage several workstreams and changing priorities at the same time.
• Comfortable challenging people and pushing delivery when required.
• Able to manage and coordinate subcontractor resources.
• Good problem-solving skills and able to make sensible decisions.
• Proactive rather than waiting to be told what needs doing.
• Confident using Microsoft Office, including Excel, and comfortable working with digital systems.
• Able to maintain accurate records and keep management updated on progress and issues.
• Strong understanding of the importance of health, safety and quality.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Drive day-to-day delivery of the Survey & Discovery programme.
• Coordinate with working supervisors, operations and subcontractors to keep resources in place and progress on track.
• Identify and address issues that could affect delivery early.
• Understand each team's tasks, location, upcoming steps and required resources.
• Ensure clear communication between the office and site with stakeholders.
• Proactively own problems and push delivery forward when needed.
