Job summary

Browne Construction is seeking a reliable Support Driver to keep reservoir and site operations supplied across London and the Thames Valley. Based at the Bexley Depot, you will collect and transport plant, materials and equipment to sites, supporting Project Managers and Site Supervisors to maintain safety and efficiency.

The role requires a full UK driving licence with towing entitlement, a proactive safety mindset, and the ability to travel regularly across London.

Responsibilities

• Collect and deliver plant, materials and equipment from depot to operational sites across London and occasional Thames Valley region.
• Support Project Managers and Site Supervisors to ensure resources are available for projects.
• Drive a company flatbed pickup with tail lift; perform vehicle safety checks; load and unload equipment.
• Ensure deliveries and collections are completed safely and on time; report incidents or concerns.

We're looking for a Support Driver to play a vital part in keeping our reservoir operations running smoothly across London and the Thames Valley region. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive team where your contribution will directly support the successful delivery of essential infrastructure projects.

Working out of our Bexley Depot, you will be responsible for collecting and delivering plant, materials, and equipment from the depot and supplier locations to operational sites across London, and occasionally the Thames Valley region. Supporting Project Managers and Site Supervisors, you will help ensure our reservoir teams have the resources they need to deliver projects safely and efficiently.

The role involves driving a company flatbed pickup truck with tail lift, carrying out vehicle safety checks, loading and unloading equipment, and ensuring all deliveries and collections are completed safely and on time. You'll play an important role in maintaining high standards of health and safety, reporting any incidents or concerns, and providing operational support to site teams as required.
