Job summary

Booker Group in Sunderland is seeking a Transport Supervisor to run a busy delivery operation and lead a team of drivers and pickers to meet daily targets. You will promote customer service excellence and ensure health and safety standards are followed.

Responsibilities include coordinating tasks, communicating management information, and ensuring vehicles are roadworthy and compliant, while supporting the delivery manager to maintain an efficient operation in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising a small to medium sized team in warehouse or transport.
• Excellent telephone and customer service skills.
• Management CPC would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of drivers and pickers to meet daily targets.
• Maintain high standards of customer service and product knowledge.
• Ensure health and safety procedures are followed at all times.
• Coordinate tasks to complete work efficiently and on schedule.
