Job summary

Booker is seeking a Transport Supervisor to lead a busy delivery operation, manage a team of drivers and pickers, and drive daily targets with a focus on customer satisfaction. The role requires strong telephone and customer service skills and a commitment to safety and policy compliance.

You will support the delivery manager, ensure roadworthiness of vehicles, plan tasks, and coordinate resources to complete work efficiently.

Qualifications

• Experience of supervising a small to medium sized team.
• Customer focused environment experience.
• Management CPC would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the Delivered Department is compliant with Company policy and procedures.
• Communicate important management information to all relevant team members.
• Supervise and maintain a safe working environment for all colleagues and customers.
• Promote and drive brand image through product knowledge and excellent customer service.
