Job summary

West Hertfordshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a Band 7 Delivery Suite Co-ordinator (Midwife) to lead the labour ward in a dynamic, acute setting. The role focuses on safe, personalised intrapartum care with clinical leadership, workforce co-ordination and escalation management.

You will oversee safe staffing, clinical risk, and governance while supporting families and staff. The post is a 12-month fixed-term with full-time hours, based at Watford General Hospital.

• Registered Midwife with substantial post-registration experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate activity across delivery suite and triage.

• Ensure accurate documentation and incident reporting.
• Contribute to audits, guideline implementation and service development.
• Support compliance with national maternity safety initiatives
