Job summary

Co-op in Manchester is seeking a Principal Delivery Manager to lead and evolve delivery across key value streams. You will partner with product, technology and business leaders to drive better outcomes, coaching delivery managers and shaping governance for complex portfolios.

The role offers hybrid working between home and the office, a 9–12 month fixed-term contract and a strong benefits package including private healthcare and a company car or car allowance.

Responsibilities

• Partner with product, technology and business leaders to improve value flow across domains.
• Coach and develop Delivery Managers and senior stakeholders in delivery practices.
• Drive continuous improvement across delivery practices with practical changes.
• Navigate dependencies and priorities across a complex portfolio.
• Build relationships with senior stakeholders and influence decisions.
• Support evolution of product-led ways of working and long-term objectives.
• Assess delivery maturity and identify opportunities to improve planning and visibility.
• Guide teams in adopting effective delivery governance and tools.
