Job summary

Royal Mail is hiring a Delivery Postie with Driving in Bath. You will cover the Bath Delivery Office on a 9-month fixed-term contract, working 34.50 hours across 5 days a week, with two shift blocks and one-in-four Sundays.

You’ll deliver letters and parcels, wearing a uniform, and service the local community with pride. We offer a guaranteed hourly rate of £13.68, 22.5 days of holiday, a company pension, and development opportunities including trainee manager roles and Apprentice Schemes.

Qualifications

• Upbeat, independent and self-motivated.
• Organised, punctual and ready to deliver great customer service.
• Think of yourself as a people-person and a friendly face in the community.
• Happy walking for long periods and working outside in any weather.
• Has a strong sense of community and takes pride in what you do.
• Has a full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels on your route.
• Securely deliver all items on route including election materials.
• Assist customers and provide a high level of service in all weather.
