DESCRIPTION

The Delivery Partner Manager is both an advisor and operating partner to Delivery Service Partners (DSPs). Amazon's team of Delivery Partner Managers assists and guides DSP business owners as they build and grow successful last mile package delivery businesses within Amazon Logistics (AMZL). This role involves helping to launch new businesses, guiding partners towards excellence, and advising on business improvements.

The Delivery Partner Manager manages the DSP relationship throughout the business lifecycle, focusing on sentiment, safety, compliance, performance, and capacity. They work closely with DSPs to address challenges, influence business planning, and ensure successful operations, while collaborating with internal stakeholders such as Partner Relations, VAS, Legal, and network teams.

This role requires travel between multiple sites to engage with business owners regularly and is field-based, demanding flexibility in working hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Safety: Collaborate with OTR Safety and Regional Managers to ensure safety compliance.
  2. Performance: Support DSPs in scaling operations, onboarding, and peak period readiness. Coach on tools and process improvements. Deep dive into customer metrics and ensure process adherence.
  3. Experience: Improve workflow efficiencies, develop relationships with DSPs, and enhance driver standards.
  4. Capacity Management: Work with DSPs to develop ramp plans and meet volume demands.
Basic Qualifications
  • A degree.
  • Relevant experience in Operations, Last Mile, account management, or small business logistics.
  • Experience working with third-party resources regionally or nationally.
  • Experience managing a contingent workforce during peak seasons.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma.
  • Project planning in ambiguous environments.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Data analysis skills and goal achievement experience.
