The Delivery Partner Manager acts as both advisor and operating partner for Delivery Service Partners (DSPs). Amazon’s team of Delivery Partner Managers assists DSP business owners in building and growing successful last mile delivery businesses within Amazon Logistics (AMZL). They support new business startups and uphold high standards of excellence, guiding and advising on business improvement strategies. The role involves working alongside Regional On The Road (OTR) managers to transition responsibilities related to planning and DSP capability.
The managers identify and execute value-creation opportunities, manage DSP relationships throughout the business lifecycle, focusing on sentiment, safety, compliance, performance, and capacity. They work closely with DSPs to solve challenges, influence business planning, and identify obstacles, ensuring effective decision-making and success, while maintaining quality standards.
They collaborate with various internal stakeholders such as Partner Relations, Value Added Service, Legal, fleet, and network health teams. Responsibilities include removing obstacles, enhancing operational, financial, and safety practices, and supporting enforcement policies. The role requires flexibility, travel between sites, and working hours that may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
