Job summary

Booker is seeking a Transport Supervisor to lead a team of drivers and pickers in a busy delivery operation. You will be responsible for day-to-day running, motivating staff to hit targets and ensuring customer satisfaction through excellent service.

The role requires experience in supervising teams and a customer-focused approach, with Health & Safety awareness and communication skills essential for daily operations. CPC qualification would be advantageous for progression within the business.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising a small to medium sized team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day running of a busy delivery operation.
• Lead drivers and pickers, motivating them to meet daily targets.
• Ensure Delivered Department complies with company policy and procedures.
• Communicate management information to all relevant team members.
• Promote and drive brand image through product knowledge and service quality.
• Support delivery manager to ensure all vehicles are roadworthy and legally compliant.
• Plan and coordinate tasks to be completed efficiently.
